American Ultra Latch – The only anti-cut padlock, no-cut latch, non-removable gate latch.

After listening to our customers over the last forty years, we have developed a latch that meets their highest needs.  The two most important criteria are that the latch must be non-removable and the lock cannot be accessible to be cut.  Below are the highlights and specifications:

1. With a thin two inch profile, it fits a two inch opening.  This was a must so it could be retrofitted to existing openings.
2. It is accessible from both sides of the fence without having to cut a hole in the gate.
3. It prevents the possibility of cutting the padlock.  It is the anti-cut padlock latch.
4. It fits padlocks with 11/2” hasp.  Flip it and it fits 2 ½” hasp.
5. It fits openings much wider than 2” with its 8” long fork latch.
6. It is not removable.  When the lock is in the closed position the upper nut is not accessible. The lower nut would be a very tedious task to remove.
7. It is extraordinarily simple with only two pieces and two bolts.
8. It is built like a tank.  The forks are 2” x ¼” thick bar stock that would have to be bent to be compromised.
9. It includes u-bolts for easier installation.  Removal will be difficult but it will not be “non-removable”.
10. This is a perfect application for correctional facilities, high security, military and utility installations that require security but are not monitored 24/7.
