American Fence Company custom builds cable railing for all applications.  Using small cables under considerable tension, cable railing provides a great alternative to traditional railing that does not interrupt the view beyond.

Cable railing is tricky.  The cables are under considerable tension so engineering must be considered to assure proper anchoring of termination points.  In addition the cables must be taut enough to assure it meets UBC and BOCA codes for guard railing and deck railing.

Even if the cable railing is initially installed and appears to be properly tensioned and structurally sound, consideration should be given as to what will occur over time as the cables continue to pull on the termination points.  To assure a quality product that you can rely on over time, a solid framework should be provided from termination to termination points.  In addition, tension devices should be installed to further tension the cable after the initial installation.
